What's happened in the last 20 years?...
It all began in September of 2002, when Danielle accepted an invitation to Theta Chi's Freshman Tea. She went with her friend, Sara (aka SBM), not really knowing what to expect. They grew bored and decided it was time go back to the dorms. At that same time, Matt was returning home from student teaching as Danielle was walking down the stairs. They accidentally bumped into each other and then spent the next hour talking and the rest is history!
After a long distance relationship for several years, Matt & Danielle tied the knot at Westminster College on August 19 and then...20 years suddenly flew by! In that time, they moved to West Virginia, had a couple of really adorable babies, moved back to the Pittsburgh area, got jobs they love, and watched those babies grow up, all while live, laugh, loving during these last two decades.
As Matt & Danielle approached their milestone 20th anniversary, they realized they'd love to share it with all the people who mean the most. All those that have been part of our journey, encouraging us and being our village. We hope that you'll take some time out of your busy lives to celebrate like it's 2006.
